GPU testing platform on Pendrive

duzy_wonsz

Quick question that may be useful for many people.

I'm about to purchase used Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 OC second hand and the seller offered that I can check the card before we seal the deal.

What should I look for? Any quick stress apps that could help me measure in what condition is that 770? How to see if the card isn't a mock-up (I'm buying it almost half price)

P.S. GPU is on warranty, so that deal is fine for me.

No software can truly measure the condition of a piece of hardware, but if it's put under a high load and there are no issues(coil whine, crashing, etc), it very well may be fine. That being said, using something for an extended period of time can introduce problems down the road. That being said, Unigine Heaven will help you stress the card to see if there are any immediate issues.
