Confused?!?!?!

Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

For example will a corair cx600 run this set up fine?

That power supply should be fine.

Ok so I am currently mulling over components for a budget gaming build and the PSU is getting me down, I am slight frightened just cause im noobish enough to burn out all my components.

I have decided on:

Case- Zalman z11 plus hf1

SSD - 120gb kingston

HDD - 1tb WD caviar blue

CPU - fx 8320

Mobo - MSI 970 gaming

GPU - r9 280x and ill upgrade that again at a later date when i come into more money

RAM - 8gb hyperx fury 1866MHz

CPU cooler - CM hyper T4

I was mulling over a thermaltake toughpower 650W gold 80 plus PSU but apparantly it isnt great.

Any feedback on a PSU that wll fit my build in the £60 to £80 range would be amazing. Thanks.

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

I would go with intel......get a i5 if you can doesn't need to be unlocked but something from the 1150 socket

That goes outside of the whole "budget" thing. For their purposes, the 8320 will likely be adequate.
