Terve!

This might sound like a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyways.

I have an ASUS Xonar DX in my System and it has a connecter that is labeled as "Fron Panel".

Because it maches the connector of the front pannel, I pluged it in, in the hope that I will be able to use the front panel.

However this is not the case, so I keep asking myself if I missed something in the Software of it, if the connector is not for that use or if my soundcard is broken.

This would not be too surprizing for me, since I never really had anything from ASUS that worked exept a few of my monitors.

Thank you alredy.

Sayonara!

You are probably missing an option in the software, make sure you have the latest driver.

I don't have a Xonar card but I do have a Creative card and there is an option in software that allows me to switch between Headphones(front panel) and speakers(rear).

Just do a bit more snooping in the software, maybe you can find what you are looking for in the windows control panel>hardware/sound>sound>manage audio devices
