Yes. It'll work fine after overclocking as well. I've also had experience with this board.

Ok thanks, i remember someone said it had like three power phases and that pushed me back to intel. Then realizing that i dont have the money i have come back for AMD and its 8 coreness. Hopefully there is a crazy benefit once the next gen consoles come out. Another question is im using a i3 2120 at the moment, will i see a big fps increase because at 1680x1050 im getting over 60 fps for just about everything.

It has ten power phases. Possibly twelve.

*breathe in* HOLY CRAP 10, i dunno if thats high but i remember a review site getting all happy because a motherboard had 8 and that was way more expensive.

You also want quality, but considering it's Gigabyte, you can expect quality.

Well time to go for the £30. lol jk. Anyways on a serious note will i have to update the bios, if i have then its a no no. Me and flashing bios never goes well, maybe it will be better due to the dual bios.

If this is a newer model than the one I had, then most likely no. However, I've updated the BIOS before on the board. It was fine - and yes, the dual BIOS will help.
