Audio Control solution

I'm using a dvi connection to connect my laptop to my tv and was planning on using my logitech speakers for audio, but there is no audio control for them. I'm trying to think of things to control my speakers (or even just my laptop's windows audio level %) from my bed. The second option is that I buy a male to male audio connector and use my tvs audio and use the tvs remote, but that's not ideal, any help guys?

There's plenty of ways to control volume, but none that I know of to control it from a distance and for free.
