Google can usually tell you.  I hear it knows a lot of things.  I mean, if this is something you cannot figure out on your own, I wouldn't recommend doing the G10 mod because it is not the easiest mod in the world as much as I love mine.  The vast majority of cards are reference PCB, chances are it is.

EDIT*  I'm astonished at the amount of money you have put into an APU system.

I've googled it, it doesn't say for my card. Information is sparce on this card.

I literally just typed in R9 280 Windforce and NZXT G10 and found a ton of hits.  Yes it is compatible.

I know I come off as extremely crass, but this is really something basic that you should be able to figure out on your own with a single google search.

That said, I wouldn't spend any more money on that system until you upgrade to a real CPU, at least an i3.

I just googled exactly what you said there and found nothing. I then remembered how NZXT's site has a compatibility checker and used that, it says no.

Edit: And I built this system with an APU, long before I had the intention on upgrading it. That said, my next upgrade is going to be to a 4690K.

My mistake, I apologize for the unpleasantness.  It is not a reference PCB according to this article.

It is not the end of the world though, if you can find a picture of this custom PCB, it might still be compatible, try asking on the G10 Owner's Club at OCN.  You were right, information on this card is hard to come across because it keeps coming up with 280X results.

I still think it isn't a good idea to invest into anything other than a true CPU.  Once you have a real CPU, then you could look into other things.  Just my opinion.

I know, I edited my last post. Going to get a 4690K, in March.

Hi Guys!

Can I replace my R9 290 Windforce Cooler with a Nzxt X61 with Kraken G10?

http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/gigabyte-r9-290-windforce-oc-review-1600p-ultra-hd-4k/2/

According to that review, it is reference PCB, so it is compatible with the G10.

It is actually confusing. Some article says yes and some says no.

I hope someone from here tried this one already.

All of them including temps

I can already tell you what kind of temps he will get with an R9 290 and G10.

With a 120mm radiator, single fan he will get 55-60C temps depending on case and ambient temps.  Adding a second fan can drop as much as another 4-5C.  Adding high end TIM can drop an additional 2-3C.

240mm+ radiator he will get sub 50C temps.
