How long till you guys think we can expect the next generation of thunderbolt?

Also, when can we expect the next generation of macbooks? They only updated to haswell like 6 months ago, so does another 6 months make sense?

Next winter they'll update everything to Broadwell chips. March is for the Air according to most people, as those have sat around too long.

Apples own upgrade schedule.

rMBPs got updated in summer, Airs have been on track for a while and they missed October so March is next, and Apple follows a early/late product update cycle for the most parts.

So it turns out thunderbolt 3 will be tied to skylake.

Guess i'm waiting a few years for dat sweet sweet bandwith
