OS on SSD

Hey,

 

I recently built me new PC and it all went smoothly. Had a few confusing moments but I guess that's all part of the learning curve
I'm beginning to have an issue though with my SSD becoming full of junk though

 

 

I've got a Sandisk 128GB SSD (After being persudaded by Linus's love for having a SSD in a system) and a Seagate Barracudda 1TB and I installed the OS on the SSD. However whenever I download files I get %appdata% junk filling up my SSD. Also, my HDD is becoming a mess as it doesn't have any organised files that files are automatically sorted into, instead I have hundreds of odd files. I want to know if there's a way I can get all windows programs, App data, Desktop settings etc. onto my HDD so that my SSD has literally only got the OS on it?

 

If it doesn't make sense please tell me and I'll send screenshots etc.

%appdata% isn't junk and should be on your ssd. Make sure to change the locations of your libraries to folders on your hdd.

 

Programs should be on your ssd as well. As for installing games/programs, you should generally have the option to choose where it's installed if you don't just press Next > Next > Next..
