Hello,

I need think I need some recommendations on how to improve my airflow, if I should go pos/neg pressure and stuff like that.
First of all, I think I should be able to remove my mid drive cage, since I have 2 2.5 slots for my SSDs next to the PSU, and the lower drive cage has space for 2 HDDs (not yet though, since I don't have enough drive rails yet).
I know my cable management is very bad, but this isn't even my very first build, rather my 0.25th. The red lines are occupied fan slots, the green line is a free fan slot for either 1 200mm fan or 2 120mm fans. Also sorry for the bad quality, smartphone cam. http://imgur.com/a/19e8b

Rig:
Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Black
i7 4770k @ stock w/ Seidon 120V
ASUS Gryphon Z87
2x 8GB 1333MHz Corsair Vengeance
2x GTX 760 2GB
2x SSD
2x HDD
Fractal Design Integra R2 750W

TIA,
Skilly

Have the Seidon exhaust and the rest as intake. Freeing any unused drive cages might help improve airflow.

Okay, so should I get one 200mm fan or two 120mm fans?

Noise level should be a little below a DirectCU II and a MSI TwinFrozr Gaming idle. Would the CM Megaflow do the job?

A 200m fan should be quieter and would work well. Megaflows are good.

Do you know what 200m case fan is used in the Storm Enforcer? I can't find the name, but it looks very similar to the megaflow. I'm not quite pleased with the performance of that fan since I can hear it over my other components at its lowest stable rpm.

The Enforcer comes with a Megaflow. Are you sure you're running it at the lowest rpm?

I'm running it at 600rpm, lower that that and it will stop working after about 10 seconds. Also, what's the rpm of the MegaFlow? I read it's 700rpm and I just realised my 200mm fan has a max of 1100rpm, so they probably aren't the same.

The Megaflow is 700rpm. The stock fan might be some oem variant.

Alright, submitted a support ticket :)

An admin of the Cooler Master forums doesn't think that it's a MegaFlow. He might be wrong though

On-Topic: Is the static pressure of the MegaFlow sufficient enough to go through a drive bay (front intake)?

It's not the branded Megaflow fan but should be some similar version.

It doesn't have plenty of static pressure at all but should provide some positive airflow.

Mkay, just ordered Noctua NF-F12 fans and a Megaflow for the top, am gonna keep my 200mm megaflow-alike. I removed the drive-cage aswell.

I'll post the results when the fans arrive.

What did you order a NF-F12 for?

For my radiator, as this forum recommended some threads earlier.

CM Support answered my ticket by the way:

Thank you for your inquiry,

The fans are almost completely the same.

The only difference between the fans is that the case fan from the Enforcer has got 1000 RPM and the MegaFlow fan has got 700 RPM.
