Is this a good reference card overclock?

Got it stable with 2 full runs of Valley benchmark, after 2 days of stress tests I feel that it is worth it.  Core; 1367mhz, Boost: 1456mhz. Boosts past this in games between 1493-1506mhz. 

Is this a good reference overclock.

Set an aggressive fan curve which solved the previous crashing issues

Do any of you have reference 980s, and if so, how was the overclocking experience. 

Current Rig:   CPU: AMD 1950X @4Ghz. Cooler: Enermax Liqtech TR4 360. Motherboard:Asus Zenith Extreme. RAM: 8GB Crucial DDR4 3666. GPU: Reference GTX 970  SSD: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO.  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro. PSU: Corsair RM1000X. OS: Windows 10 Pro UEFI mode  (installed on SSD)

Peripherals:  Display: Acer XB272 1080p 240Hz G Sync Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Brown Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB Headhet: Roccat XTD 5.1 analogue

i have a reference 980 and havent overclocked it but that seems like a good overclock to me what are your max temps

The coil whine has nearly gone, only whines when stress testing and in itself it is high-pitched so is quieter than the annoying buzz that u used to get, and when the fans run at 60-70% when gaming u hardly notice it.

Lol, strix is not reference

it technically is because it uses a reference PCB with a diffrent cooler
