Mouse feet issues

I got a logitech G502 mouse, and it's feet keep scraping on the g440, I know these will wear down in the future. My question is if I were to buy additional feet and stick them on top of the originals for protection and better lift off, would the accuracy of the mouse be less from the additional height of 0.28mm. My reference for putting them on top of the originals is hotline games mouse feet, they recommend putting them on top and claim they're competition model lasts longer and glides better.
