I currently have a Old 2007 dell workstation with a xeon and a MSI R7770, which is my friends.

I want to make a completely new build so i can use it for myself (not with my dad, and we have to keep swapping drives, fairly annoying).

One of my friends may give me a FX-4XXX (not sure exact version) cpu so i can just get a mobo and a cooler instead to OC it, ignoring Cpu.

This is what i am currently thinking of.

Get an H81/B85/H97 board. You don't need a Z97 for a G3258. The rest of the parts look fine, but where is your GPU?

Already have one. MSI R7770 that i currently use. Also what incase i want to upgrade to an I5 later on?

Do you have a mobo suggestion incase i end up getting the FX-4xxx cpu?

Oh ok. Then, aside from the board, the parts look great. I'm guessing you already have an HDD, too?

Yes, a WD blue 1TB.

So what about a FX-4xxx cpu?

Most AM3+ boards should be supported, but the GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard is a good and inexpensive one.

What will this PC be used for?

Gaming. The games I play are not that CPU /GPU demanding except like 1 or 2. http://steamcommunity.com/id/cookiezfort/games/ that is my steam library. Arma 2 and Planetside 2 are propably going to be the places where i get the least frames.

I don't know if you will be able to run Arma 2 on this...

It seems impossible until it's done.

You may want to look into getting a GTX 750/750ti, if you can afford it. It'd definitely boost your PC's performance.

Trying to be cheap as possible. I just got my friends 7770, I may upgrade my gpu all together later on when I have money.
