Any good?

SM58's are the industry standard for live vocal reproduction.

SM57's have a slightly different audio curve that make them great for recording instruments (electric guitars/bass through an amplifier, drums, etc.)

overall, they're both very good mic's for the cost.

If you ever been on a live venue you've heard an sm58. If you ever listened to underground or indie music most of the instruments for sure were recorded with an sm57

I'm super salty,  I got my SM57 a while ago, the thing cost me a bomb, and now Massdrop do this to me? Haram.

Both of those mic's offer a fair level of audio fidelity in a live audio recording environment. That being said, I wouldn't recommend them for podcasting or streaming, which is what most users on this forum would be using a mic for. You will find these prices periodically through the year from many online music equipment retailers. Good deal if you're specifically in the market for live vocal or production mics.
