"Rescan" program files/ transfer shortcuts?

Hi forums!

 

Currently I'm running a "C" drive with my OS and a few files, besides that I have a "D" drive which contains almost all of my apps.

I would like to reinstall my "C" drive but then I would lose all the shortcuts to the apps that I have installed and so my question is:

Once I have reinstalled Windows on my "C" drive, can I somehow transfer/readd the program shortcuts from the "D" drive so that they

show up in my search bar?

 

I know that you can go into the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and add the shortcuts manually, I'm looking for an automated way.
