Hello.

Earlier today I was rerouting cables in my computer and when I was done it looked good. But when I went to turn the computer on it couldnt find boot disk. So after cracking the case open I switched my Optical Drive power cord with my HDD cord. It worked again but when I followed the cord I saw the original HDD power cord was unplugged from power supply for when I rerouted cables and forgot to plug it back up. I feel like a moron. Thought I broke it. Anyone else do something like this?

Last summer I tossed out a 2.5 + 3.5" hotswap bay because it always needed a reboot before it would see the disks and hence was useless to me.

Yesterday I was messing around in the BIOS and suddenly noticed that each of my SATA ports could have hotswap-ability set individually ... and that they all were disabled.  SmileySuicide.gif
