Hey guys! New here so hello to all of you :)

Anyways, I would like to build a new gaming PC because my last gaming PC died. RIP, and I would like for some help as i'm quite new to building PC's as I have only ever brought pre-builds.

Yeah, so I would love some help on what parts would make a brilliant gaming PC for these next gen games to be able to run at ultra with 60fps and more if able.

Parts I can re-use;

-120GB Samsung EVO SSD - Looking to have 1 more of these

-1tb HDD - Looking to have 3 more of these

Don't need any peripherals or OS, gee i'm happy the monitors didn't break ;D

My budget is around £1500-£2000

Again, hello to everyone on these forums and apologies if this is in the wrong section :)

Thanks in advance :)

Are there any parts you can reuse from your previous system?

Is a copy of Windows or any peripherals needed?

You posted in the correct sub-forum.

I stuck the Asus ROG Swift in as I don't know if you need a Monitor or not. That can be changed or dropped depending on your requirements.

@lee32uk

Thanks man, looks like a good setup in my eyes :)

I currently have 2 monitors and I guess i'll just use those :)

Just a question, how many fans would I need to keep this system running well and quiet?

If you go with a case like the Phanteks you probably won't need additional fans as you get 3 pre-installed.

1 front 200mm fan

1 rear 140mm fan

1 top 140mm fan

I would run it with the stock fans to start with. You can always add or replace the existing ones later on if needed.

Are you just using one of the Monitors to game on ? What resolution are they ?

@Lee

I use one 24" one as my main, and a 21.5" for my second.

Sorry for the time taken to reply

If you plan on using the 24" Monitor for gaming on, then a single GTX 970 would be enough.

This would still give you the option of adding a 2nd graphics card in the future.
