Hey guys need some help planning parts for a friend's build. Thanks!

1. Budget & Location

The budget is $800 USD.

2. Aim

The aim for this build is to have PC that is small and portable that will outperform any consoles. Mitx is preferred but matx will also work. Additionally would prefer have an intel/nvidia setup. An amd graphics card might be ok.

3. Monitors

Have 1080p monitor.

4. Peripherals

Need keyboard and mouse. This can make the budget go bit over $800.

5. Why are you upgrading?

This will be his first built PC.

Would that graphics card fit in that case?

Yes, it just barely fits.

Looks good. What could you do without putting peripherals in the budget? Just 800 dollars for the main PC.

You could bump up to a 970: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt9010110p

Would that even fit?

Again, yes. The 970 is smaller than the previous 285.
