OC3D hiring Writers

Was debating where to post this. Decided this would probably be the best place...

OverClocked3D.co.uk is currently Under-staffed and is in need of writers for their news section (much like our own forum, news section). The basis there is that any user feeling like they have what it takes to become a Writer at OC3D will be contacted by OC3D once they've acknowledged your posting. There is no application for the position, but after enough high-quality news articles you will probably get an offer.

 

This position is Paid (per article) as well, and open to all users (obviously, you must have a forum account). There is also the premise that while this job opening does not start with any form of video-reviews, there is the possibility in the future for this job to evolve and leave you reviewing products for OC3D and their news sites on, and off video with review samples.

 

A lot of forum members here are interested in getting into the reviewing business - This might be your ticket to fame :)

What about writers oversea/elsewhere? Are they willing to look at those members?

what is writing?

They can be anywhere in the world, as long as they can write good articles & in english.

accent that the article has got to be great (more than just good). not skimming
obvious bullet-points or simple commenting. TTL is a fair man, but standards,

fact-checking and grammar are critical.

 

this has been an on-going search for two years.

 

peeps submit 250-word descriptions and get escorted to the door. minimum of

1200 words, photos, and descriptive text is what he is asking for.

This rules me out. I like tech and all that, but TTL is very OCD in attention to detail and I'm also not a member of the forums over there. While many can appreciate such detailed articles, some people prefer direct to the point and why I'm more at home here.
