PDF Files Can't Be Opened

I'm experiencing an extremely weird problem (to me). I donwload pdf files from my school's website and I can't open any of them. It will show a small box saying the file is corrupted or the version is not compatible or something. The weird things start now.

1. I can open any file that I download from other websites with no problem.
2. I download the file from another computer and send to my own email ---> get back to my computer ----> download the file ----> open normally without any problem
3. Any pdf file that is sent through email from anybody can be opened normally, too.
4. My phone can't even download the pdf files.

So............!!! Can anybody help me? I don't even know what's wrong here.

Try viewing from the browser? or try installing/reinstalling some pdf opener
