Memory/ RAM upgrade

hello,

question here, can i use a ram for this

along side any other corsair ram? or does it have to be the same one as that for compatibility? since i already have 8gb ram also and i will add that to make a total of 16gb, but my old ram is an 8gb xms3 ram corsair

You can use it with any other DDR3 ram.

Yeah, but you have to make the timings, frequency and voltage the same in teh bios
