My father a while ago brought home a Sony VAIO (Core i5, with Nvidia GPU) that I'm assuming had a RAID 0 on it now has been "destoryed". When cold booting I'm presented with a screen showing that can't be booted, something about pressing CTRL+I (i) to get into utilites, I don't think I can do anything on the screen. Manged to get Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium (despite the key on the back being for Pro) to run on it. In the Create and format hard disk partitions, I can see the 60ish GB partition I put W7 on and a 120 GB that won't format to MBR or GPT. How can we reclaim the entire space for use and remove the RAID 100%?

I have managed to get rid of the RAID, but I'm left with two partitions (useble) @ about 60 GB each, but I can't merge them, they are both dynamic discs.
