Compatibility Check

Go to solution Solved by Leonard,

Hi All!

I had received a water cooling kit this time last year and I have unfortunately been through 3 dead pumps and would like out of the whole RMA process and just get a new pump/reservoir system.  I was wondering if someone could tell me if these parts would all be compatibile with each other and fit nicely into the new system.

Water Cooling Kit: http://www.frozencpu...Dead-Water.html

Pump: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16737/ex-pmp-203/Swiftech_MCP655_Variable_Speed_12v_Water_Pump_w_G14_Thread_Ports_Perfectly_Tapped.html

Reservoir: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8336/ex-res-144/Swiftech_MCRES_Micro_Rev_2_Small_Form_Factor_High-Flow_Reservoir_12_ID_and_38_ID.html

The new pump and reservoir and the radiator from the kit would be compatible but you will need to used warm water technique to get the 3/8s inch tubing needed for the new pump and reservoir to get it over the 1/2 inch barbs that came with the kit which would be on your radiator. You would also need to remove the X20 750 pump/res combo out of the picture to get proper flow.
