Hi. I have Windows 8.1. When i press the turn off button, it seems like it turns off and all. Lights go off, monitor goes off, fans stop, everything stops. Then when i press any key on the keyboard or the mouse, boom, it turns back on. And it isnt just on sleep mode or something, when turning on it shows the bios screen, windows logo and then we're back on the desktop. Any ideas why it does this?

Are you hitting the power button on the pc? You have to go to shut down within windows 8 to turn it off.

I do shut it down within Windows.

Just hold the power button for 10 seconds and it'll be off.

That did turn it off completely, yes. But why does it turn back on when i press a key or mouse button after turning it off "normally" in the first place? And is there any other way? I would prefer not to hold the power button all the time.
