What is the best free EQ? I have the dolby one, but I don't really like how annoying it is to adjust things. Are any of them significantly better?

Nope, when I pull that up, its blank. The only checkbox is to disable all sound effects.

Some versions of the driver don't have it. It just varies from board to board. What music player are you using? Most of those have a built in one too.

I currently use the stock windows media player for most music, but I also listen to things (music, videos, ect.) in chrome.

I don't think windows media player has an equilzer. I googled and this was the first result. Seems good enough.
