So I need a 1u server PSU. and it needs the following cables.

2x 4-pin

    8-pin

  10-pin

  24-pin

and one thing that I'm not fully sure what it is {On the right}

(Here is a picture)

It needs to be 650Watts or more. Anyone have any suggestions? I would prefer to try and keep price minimal, However it's a server and I still want some quality.

That on the right looks like sata power cable

Probably, I was going to look closer but I didn't want to power off the server. The current PSU works but is not able to power a dedicated GPU that was in there without intermittent booting.

It did work fine for a few months before it started having issues booting.

EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W. Specifically the G2 version. Has good efficiency and is extremely reliable (which is basically what a sever needs.) Pretty cheap in comparison to the any other 750W at this level of quality on the market as EVGA has a good OEM manufacturer (I'm pretty sure they have an exclusive contract for these models). The 750W gives you 100W headroom although I doubt you need that much power. Just wait for the PSU guru's to get in here and they'll tell you exactly what you need, although I'm pretty sure the G2 is a sound choice.

So I need a 1u server PSU.

For future clarification to anyone else getting ready to post. 1U is 1.752" in height, much less than an ATX PSU. 1U is smaller than a normal I/O shield.

As for the OP, sorry I can't help you with a PSU but at least this will stop all the random PSU recommendations. Any chance you can get a better picture of that connector though? It does look like sata power somewhat, but its really hard to tell for sure.

I don't think I've ever seen a 1U PSU over 500W though...

My bad, I missed that bit :/ Yeah sorry OP, its unlikely that you'll find a decent PSU for that size config over 500W, although you can make anything fit with a little case modding if you are up for it.

Look in the motherboard/server handbook to see what the connector is. Picture is too blurry to properly see it.

It's a duel CPU server with lots of hard drives and a gpu. so it does use a little power. but not anywhere near 750watts I want to say like 300-350ish last time I used a kill'a'Watt on it.

And to be honest, I don't know if I care at this point if it fits inside the case perfectly. It's more about powering the server.

(If it has long enough cables to sit on top then, SURE why not)

P.S. After looking into the switch it may be a secondary power switch so the server can be easily powered on in a server rack without someone touching it.

also designed for the server style power supply to power up the board without the use of an external switch on a blade rack.

this should be obsolete aslong as it has a normal Power switch connection

It's an old power signal connection for Intel server motherboards.

Intel server motherboards used to require 3 power connections - a large main power connection, a smaller cpu power connection, and the P14 auxiliary power signal connection.

Power supplies with the P14 power signal connection are still available from online vendors.
