os on 2 computers

hi there. im wiping my brothers computer because it is running really slow and he just wants to get rid of it. i have the windows 7 disk to install it on his laptop but i also still have the windows 8.1 disk that i installed on my desktop. my question is can i install windows 8.1 on the laptop even though ive already installed it on my own desktop.

You can use it to install 8.1 but if you activate it it will deactivate yours, especially if you have a Microsoft account tied to it.

You think you've got a problem. I have a habit of missing one to three words in my posts which makes my posts look retarded. I usually have to go back and edit the post which is annoying, to say the least.
