Macbook pro retina

Hi guys, i have a MBP 13 late 2011 and it´s rock solid.. The battery has 550 cycles and still lasts for 5 hours easy, i carry it in my back pack without any protective case or anything and it´s still fine just some scratches.

 

I want to know if the retina macbook pro has the same quality since i remember they were known to have screen issues.

The Retina probably only had screen issues because...retina? Higher pixel density meaning higher failure rates?

 

Should be similar, I would think.
