BenQ XL24240Z Problems

So the problem that i'm having is pretty much described here in this thread: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/245427-i-cant-get-my-benq-xl2420z-to-144hz-please-help/page-2 except not the monitor not going up to 144hz, mine goes to 144hz no problem, out of the box.

 

I have a Radeon HD 7800 series. 

 

The problem that i'm experiencing when I go into the menu settings to do auto adjust like it described to me to do when I input the CD, it is all greyed out and not an option to click any of it.

 

Also, I cannot find drivers for this, anywhere, and when I goto properties for my drivers it's showing Microsoft drivers from 2006? For this new monitor. The CD has no drivers, BenQ website has no drivers.

 

The colors on the monitor look absolutely horrendous, which I read in the reviews that they needed to be calibrated, but I cannot get into the menu, nor do I know anything about monitor calibration.

Googling didn't return anything, can you provide a link to the exact monitor you've bought? Also what type of cable are you using to connect it and any adapters to change it from one type of cable to another you might be using?
