Boot problem

I have a problem whit my boot on my PC that I built a month ago. When I turn it on its stays ON and after cca.3-5 sec it turns its self OFF and then back ON. Is this normal I am new to this? Thanks for any help.

Do you get any display on the monitor at all? make sure your RAM is seated correctly.

My RAM is seated correctly it registerrs all 16 GB

Thats good then, can you get into the BIOS and check the temps? does it all look ok?

 

Remove anything in the system that doesnt need to be in it for testing, pci cards like sound cards, use onboard gfx take the gfx card out, unplug all hard drives except your boot drive etc, see if it then boots?

and the second time it stays on?  this board have a dual BIOS?

it doeent have dual BIOS. It is the Asus Maximus hero VII

the shut down and start up occur in the boot...... you never see the desktop?

 

you can't keep tapping the delete key on start up to get into the BIOS? and then set up boot sequence/set time, etc. ??

 

did you try booting without a graphics card installed? hook monitor to motherboard.....

Did you install the Motherboards Stand offs? The MB is most likely cutting itself off.

The stand offs are screwed into the Case and then the MB site on it and you screw the screws into the stand offs

The  second time  it stays on the whole time i am not sure why. I can get in to BIOS and I can do everything normaly. The  Motherboards Stand offs are at the right places. I dubble chacked before I did anything.
