Speaker recommendation

Paralectic

I am need of new speakers for my setup

2.1 or 2.0, whatever is available and what I can like.

Budget: 120€/150$ maximum.

I want a pair of active bookshelf speakers or a 2-speaker 1-subwoofer system.

The thing I don't like about basic Logitec 2.1 systems is the look of the satelites. They are ugly as hell.

My preferation in terms of size and looks are somewhat like bookshelf speakers are, all square. No round finishes.

So could anyone recommend me any brand or model which could be what I am looking for?

I got a pair of these and they sound crisp and they are great if you enjoy blasting music :D

http://www.amazon.com/Bose-Companion-Series-Multimedia-Speakers/dp/B00CD1PTF0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420205896&sr=8-1&keywords=bose+companion+2+series+iii

My only complain is that the lower end is slightly heavier for my taste but that is just my opinion!

(THEY ARE BOSE SPEAKERS) xD

The BBQ: i7-4770 / 212x / Tri-X R9 290x 1075/1400 / MSI H87-G43 GAMING / EVGA G2 850W / Corsair Spec 03 / Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD / Toshiba 2TB HDD / 8gb Kingston DDR3 1600mhz

Peripherals: G710+ / G502 / Bose Companion 2 Series III / Audio Technica ATH-M40x / Sound Magic E50

Monitors: Dell U2414H

Thanks altough it's not really what I'm looking for in terms of aesthetics.

Recently purchased these for £65 each but the price has soared on Amazon, where I bought them, but you can look elsewhere.

Great speakers, cant fault them. Both are active with a 70w amp in each speaker, split 40w low freq/ 30w high freq.

Solid speakers and look great on the desk :http://i.imgur.com/HVWNXET.jpg         :http://i.imgur.com/z3ZfyAi.jpg

I don't know what's available to you, but something like this would be good for music:
