Designing software for Mac OS

I am looking for a 3D designing software for my macbook that is sort of like Solidworks.  I am going to be designing a desktop case ;).  Sorry for the short article.  I like to keep it short and sweet.

Autodesk Inventor, I believe there is a mac version.

If you want something for free just for designing a desktop case, use Google Sketchup. 

I tried using that and it isn't very great.  Then again using Solidworks for school kinda sets the bar
