Me happy :)

Few hours ago I got Powercolor r9 270x and Thermaltake Smart SE SPS-530M.

Its first upgrade from when I firstly bought this pc.

I just want to say that I am happy now :)

But not really really happy as there are some problems. First problem is that I dont notice ~200-300% (ok maybe not 300) performance increase as I expected (because of cpu) and other problem is with gpu itself. I have same problem as this guy:

other problem will hopefully be solved on 5th january as store is opening than.

What kind of cables are you using? Are they cheap? Do they convert from one output to another. This looks like cheap cables to me causing EMI interference.

I use VGA cable that came with monitor and DVI to VGA adapter that came with old 6770. With old card I never had this issue. Also flickering is only noticeable when card is under load.

So i tried lot of things that I found online and nothing worked.

When I went to place where I bought it guy said that its because of monitor and that my card is too strong for it???????

He said I should use hdmi or dp and there is nothing I cant do about vga.

He also said lot of r9 gpus couse have that problem because they are too strong????
