Hello there. I'd like to upgrade/rebuild my PC to work faster/better. I am a gamer who likes to make videos and do other demanding(ish) tasks. Now... my budget isn't anything great, only 600 EUR for the tower alone so... as I said in the title, I only want a "fair" build, not overkill, but it wouldn't hurt if it could stay good for the future too. My current rig is: CPU - Intel Q2800 2.4Ghz, RAM - Some 6 GB, randomly selected, GPU - GTX 650 2GB (Not Ti)... the rest doesn't matter I think. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What other demanding tasks did you have in mind?

Where are you shopping?

You need to quote a post or tag a member or else they won't get a notification you replied to them.

Other demanding tasks would be programming or rendering videos/3d designs while playing games, or watching livestreams at twitch.tv or even streaming myself. And... I am shopping from E-shop. (Little note: I live in Greece.)

But it doesnt have a OS.

Both of them will handle Much better than your current rig.

The upgrades you can do later on is first getting 16gb of RAM to help the streaming performance, And after that you could add another 260x to get almost twice the graphical performance.

And when the 6300 is not powerful enough anymore you can add a CM 212 evo(Or better) to overclock it.

My Gaming PC

|| CPU: Intel i5 4690@4.3Ghz || GPU: Dual ASUS gtx 1080 Strix. || RAM: 16gb (4x4gb) Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600Mhz. || Motherboard: MSI Z97S Krait edition. || OS: Win10 Pro

Ah, thank you very much. To be honest, I'm more comfortable with Intel. Been using their stuff since forever. As about the OS... I already have it, so I don't need to buy that. What I "need" (or "want" I guess...) as an extra is a good monitor. I don't want 4k or anything, 1080p would be more than enough.

Do you necessarily have to be rendering while gaming? Rendering optimally uses as many of the system's resources as possible and compensating for that would gimp other components.
