What is the point of the I7?

Is it JUST a gamer machine or are you going to edit/render movies?

750 Watt should be more than enough for that system.

Isnt the Intel ssd pretty expensive? I think you would be better off with a samsung 840/850 OR a Crucial mx100.

Looks great.

I don't know how much the Intel SSD costs, but I guess theres a cheaper one like the Samsung 840 EVO.

The power supply has just the right wattage. Well done :)

1. get a 4690k

2. the strix cards are ok if you arent overclocking but i would get the gigabyte g1s.

3. i would get the EVGA 750w G2 its much better than the corsair

2. dont get an optical drive if you dont need it most people dont

The CPU I'm keeping the 4790k for rendering as well. I should've mentioned that. I completely forgot to factor the overclocking of the cards.

It's not just a gaming machine. I should've said that. I do plan on rendering and editing as well actually :P

The Strix is a great card. I don't know if it's true that they aren't good for overclocking, but I can't imagine that.

I use a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 980, which is an awesome card. I can definitly recommend that one. But also the EVGA 980 must be great.

Well I switched it Gigabyte G1. Cause I guess they seem better and are more so recommended.

Why are you getting 8.1 pro edition? Otherwise, your PC looks a lot like mine....did you copy? (J/K)

Well it's because I already have a copy of it from my friend who used to work for Microsoft. Lol it sort of does look the same. Hey it's a great build. :)
