SSD Boot Drive That Will Last

I'm looking to invest in a decent SSD 'boot' drive that will last me a good few rig iterations (5+ years), I'd like a boot drive that allows me some breathing room for games too, I was thinking in the 500GB region.

What would you recommend I consider/purchase?

Hey Dom1912,

 

There are several great SSDs on the market that people prefer and this is one of them alongside with Cricial's MX100 series. I'm sure the guys here will give you some other options and feedback.

Do have in mind that SSD or HDD, this is hardware after all and failures do happen. I would strongly suggest having a backup of your important data since data is nearly impossible to retrieve from a failed SSD due to the nature of the way data is stored on them. It is much easier with HDD.
