System Freezing up

ReaperWarLord

I just recently built a new computer with a A10 7700k , Geforce GTX 750 and 4 gigs of ddr3 1333mhz ram. I am having trouble with my system when I try to play games or task intensive stuff the computer starts to slow down and become very unresponsive the task manger shows 100% hard drive activity at some points. and my NVidia display driver keeps crashing when im playing games. in windows event viewer. and some times the whole system just completely freezes I have to reset the pc.

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. event 4101 display.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

by any chance you use the GPU driver from the CD?

a reinstall of the GPU driver may help

use the Display Driver Uninstall to remove the bad driver

boot to safe mode with networking and install the latest nVidia driver
