Yes it is good

Ducky is an amazing brand, enjoy it

and personally I am not a fan of black switches, I would go for blue.

its kinda hard to say cos it's what you like with the diffrent switches
so with mechanical keyboards it's beat if you can "try it out "in a store

or maybe you could find a used on ?

Dude I think he is mostly asking about quality

If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss

Anything from ducky is fantastic. Just note that blacks switches are the hardest to get used to. People say they don't like blacks cause they only try the switches for a short period of time. Once you use the black switches intensively for about a month, they are the best switches you can get.

What makes for a good quality keyboard? I see Linus always doing a flex test to measure quality. The reality is my QPad mk-50 never leaves the desk. The switches are made by cherry so they have their own quality control. I have no fancy lights to break etc. Why is Ducky/Filco better than my Qpad? Is it fanboys? (I will probably get some hate for that one :P)

@adelhied,

If you want a good cheap Mechanical Keyboard and prefer Blue switches, there's this keyboard. It's $57, not counting shipping.

The reviews give it 4 stars overall (there are many 5 star reviews). The only problems are that the keys' text tends to fade quickly, and that the spacebar "is weird" and that the Blue LED's that are for the Num Lock and such are "blindingly bright".

Quotes taken from reviews on the site.

Sorry this is late, had work to do.

Well my new ducky feels really sturdy, I could probably smash someone in the face and it would still function like it's brand new.  Plus I love the blue switches they remind me of an old school typewriter.

I could say the exact same for my Qpad. I am not trying to be smart here. Genuinely interested. People seem to go mad for these keyboards and I have no idea why.

The feel of the switches is down to the switch manufacturer. I take it Ducky/Filco use cherry switches so the feel of it is nothing to do with Ducky/Filco.

Actually, others who own DS II's and, say, Cooler Master KB's, have noticed a difference in the way the switch feels and sound. For example, I have a DS II Special Ed Cherry Blue with white key caps and a CM Storm Quick Fire TK Cherry Blue, as stated, both use Cherry Blue but when I do a side-by-side comparison, the switch on the TK feels a tad scratchier/chalkier than those on the DS II. There's is a subtle difference in the sound it produce and I believe it has to do with how the switches are mounted, the material used, and general overal build quality. I'm NOT saying that CM makes crap KB's, far from it, their KB's are of great quality, but DS II (and Filco) are a little more refined.....and yes, I have a Filco MJ Ninja Cherry Brown as well.
