Stupid PS4 Question

So I was going to build myself a gaming rig with my Christmas and Birthday money, but that leaves me and my girlfriend nothing to play games on. So, PS4 it is. So here is my stupid question.

 

The PS4 controller plays audio through the headphone jack at the base of the controller correct?

And you can use the microphone on a pair of headphones (my two listen below) to communicate (such as an iPhone with 3 pole jack)

I'm pretty sure most co-op/online games on ps4 are also on PC

But... what game that has split screen and that's also not on pc are you playing? I googled a bit and i couldn't find a game like that

take a look at the ps4 gold headset they are pretty sweet for the price dolby 5.1 and everything! makes it easier too because all you have to do is plug in a dongle in the usb port no real cables around and when the battery dies you can switch to using a jack cable to the controller
