Help with pricing.

Ive been working on a new build and just recently i realized how unnecessarily powerful this rig will really be for me. With my current computer i'm getting maybe 10-20 frames so 40-50 is insane, which I now know doesn't take 1500 dollars. The problem i have now is that I have no idea what to get in the lower budget. Any help?

Save a few bucks on the motherboard, why get a Z97 board with a non K processor? Get a H97 instead.
