GPU overclocking problems help?

Ok i have a XFX Radeon R9 280x i had i overclocked using the AMD driver i had it at something like 1100Mhz core and 1700 on the memory i went to test it on unigine valley and it said my core clock was 850Mhz and memory at 1500 even though in AMD Catalyst it said not. I have tried a few things search this problem and not much has came up. And help would be very appreciated. Thanks

What does MSI Afterburner say?

I havent installed that yet but i will install it now but on GPU-Z the default base clock is 1000Mhz

I installed MSI afterburner and its say what i put into the AMD driver core clock @1125 and memory @1700
