Static Pressure vs. Airflow

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to swap out fans on my H440 and got a but stumped when selecting fans for the front intake, which is limited to about a centimeter of clearence.

Would static pressure or an airflow fan be best for this spot?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! One thing I didn't get from the video is if it is alright to use them in a restricted intake. Is it?

Just use static pressure fans, you can't really go wrong with them. Besides the temperature difference of your components is going to be negligible between AF and SP fans.

The noctua 2000 RPM are better then sp120 performence edition

I'd take any Noctua over them may the be the original's, industrial's, or redux's.

Redux is the same as standard NF-F12s right? Just no accessories in the box.

Edit: Nope, turns out I'm way off.

the F12 is not offered in a redux. redux are basically just older models with a new color scheme and no accessories. the old p12 should be but for pressure optimized on the P14 is available. We really eed to do a petition about that or something.

Scythe are the best fans for price/performance ratio beats both corsair and Noctua http://www.scytheus.com/product/grand-flex-pwm/ just a bit noiser and if you dont care for noise Delta are the best.As for what each does airflow is a term how much air it moves in space but that air can be reduced if it has obstacles such as hdd etc which reduced their effectivnes . While static pressure is the ability to move air in a tighter maner and able to have  a stable flow that is not reduced by HDD . To visualize better imagine a very wide cone which is airflow vs a tight cone which is the static pressure
