Adding my own movies to Google Play Movies?

Does anyone know how to add movies that I've downloaded onto my phone to my Google Play Movies library? I want to watch them using my Chromecast, and I don't want to use the screen mirroring to watch them.

You can't side-load movies I believe, even if you can't you can't watch Side-loaded content on a Chromecast. I tried with Google Play Music when the newest Slipknot album was released

Do you have windows media center and an Xbox 360 that's all u need. Set up your 360 as an extender in windows media center than tell windows media center where the videos are. Worst case u may need something like handbrake to convert to a different format that wmc can handle but that's only worst case.

buy allcast premium and you'll be able to stream the movies from your phone through your chromecast and onto your tv
