Open back headphones/headset?

Gunna be buying a new headset/headphones+mic soon. I want them to be open back, and I need them to have that nice cloth material for the ear cups. I don't like leather, I think it gets too uncomfortable/hot. :P

I was going to go with the A40s; people said they sucked. Then I was going to go with the Sennheiser G4me Ones; people also said they weren't worth the money.

So, I guess I'm looking for a nice sound setup. I plan on recording some stuff to put on YouTube from time to time so I need a good/acceptable quality mic so I don't make people ears bleed on videos in the case that I get a headset.

I plan on buying an AT2020USB Plus desk mic if I get a pair of headphones, and if I get a headset I'll be holding off on the desk mic until the summer for money reasons.

My budget can go up to about $300, but I would really prefer for it not to get that high.

So, does anyone have suggestions? I'm not particularly picky on audio quality since I'm coming from Turtle Beaches, so I don't need any sort of super audiophile grade stuff. Just something that's efficient when playing games like CS:GO so I can track locations of footsteps around me.

Thanks.

Dt990 pro / akg k612 (or maybe k712 used, I got a pair for $265, wonderful headphones) HD558, HD600/650 used.

IMHO you should try to buy used, people tend to take very good care of "Audiophile" headphones, so you don't need to worry about things being damaged/ screwed up.

Thanks a ton for all the speedy replies guys! I'm looking at the DT990 Pros on Amazon--the ones for ~$180. I'll definitely consider them!
