Corsair m95 question

I have a Corsair m95, i play games where you can use  that extra buttons on the site of the mouse the problem is that only 3 of them work ingame i know that all of them work but not in games for example (csgo, BF4 ) 

How can i use them ingame ?

You program each button to do it's own thing....?

You need to assign your buttons to a keyboard key probably, and not just like a extra button. That is how I do it.
