Hi guys.
I've seen Linus use the Bitfenix pro fans over and over in all of his builds now, pretty much in everything from budget AMD builds to 4K and Surround gaming builds. I saw them on sale the other day, and thought;

Why is Linus so damn fond of these fans specifically? Does anyone know why he keeps recommending them over and over?

Thanks.

I haven't seen many cases where he recommends them. They look nice in some builds but are average fans at best.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

They have talked about those in WAN show. Linus has said that they are nice bang for buck style fans with (in his opinion) bit too plastic-like structure. I have 2 140mm Pro fans installed and I don't think same way. Once you screws them in, they are really rigid and nice. Sound levels could be tad lower still but if you have PWM cabable mobo, you will get nicer experience than me running them at 7V (550rpm).
