I'd go with around a 500-550w PSU - rather go for a 80+ PSU if you can.

500 watt will do but to be on the safe side and to give you room to upgrade id go 600-700 (as a personal recommendation get the V700 from coolermaster its great).

500-600W :) (500W will be more than enough, but with a 600W PSU the fan will spin slower = less noise)

Isn't it bad to have more than needed? I heard Linus saying countless times that having a PSU with more watts than needed may damage your components.

No, he's never said that..

Alright then, I guess I'll be getting a 600w then. Do you have any good recommendation? It's a budget build so I don't need anything fancy, 80+ Bronze Is okay i guess.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

I said I'm from the UK. The budget is around 450 - 500 GBP for the whole system.

Ahh, I ask that to see if there are specific vendors that you usually use as well.

I just mean the budget for the psu in which case a decent 550w would be plenty: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/zalman-power-supply-zm550xg

Did you want recommendations for the system as a whole?

Like many other brands like Corsair, Zalman doesn't actually manufacture their own psus but rebrands from oems. The zm550xg is made by Enhance Electronics which is a decent oem.

Zalman was quite a big name back in the day for their Z11 case and air coolers.

A decent 500w would be fine.
