Hey guys.

I have an Asus AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB graphics card that was working perfectly fine...that was of course until it decided to start constantly crashing it's display driver every few minutes when watching Netflix, YouTube, browse the Internet or try to play games. I assumed it was corrupt drivers, so I reinstalled them. (after uninstalling and removing them completely of course) As I uninstalled them in safe mode using a tool that removes AMD, Intel and NVIDIA drivers I began to do a registry clean to get rid of the left over registry entries. Then I went through my SSD deleting manually all existant AMD/ATI files and rebooted. I freshly reinstalled the most up-to-date drivers both from AMD and then ASUS (after removing all of AMDs).

AMD suggested I try to use the drivers provided by ASUS, but they were bad. I could see a lot of random white pixels over my screen when I had something dark or black open on my computer. (such as a video or photo) - So I removed ASUS's crappy drivers.. (ASUS was never really any good with display drivers to begin with anyway,,) yet those didn't resolve my issue and neither did AMD's drivers. I had been contacting AMD back and forth for about a month and all of their suggestions failed. None worked.

I'm wondering if anyone else ever suffered this issue with the same model graphics card? What are your experiences?

NOTE: If you never owned or do not own an AMD Radeon R9 280X and have no knowledge of them, please do not reply. I also don't want replies that just say "Get an NVIDIA card".

Please stay on topic with the card I am talking about. :)

Thank you.

1. Try disable ULPS. You can use MSI Afterburner to disable it.

2. Disable Flash hardware acceleration.
