Sony Vegas GPU rendering?

I have been struggling to run my 7970's in sony vegas for a while now I recently switched over to sony vegas pro 13 to see if the GPU rendering would be enabled but it hasn't, I see people run similar cards and get great rendering times but I don't know how. Here is an example of a benchmark that tweak town did.

Also AnandTech did a sony vegas render as well with a 280x (the exact card that I am using)

Someone tell me what settings they used.
