Just wanted to know if there are any changes that can to be done to make this build better but without increasing the cost. If at a lower cost that will be money, literally.

Also if there is a better price per performance build that will run similar to the one above i would be highly appreciative. Id rather not just be throwing away money,

Use for gaming, video editing, and multi tab web surfing.

I don't think there's much you can do to make that build any better at the same cost, The parts you have selected are pretty good but if you'd like to bring the cost down a bit and keep the same performance you could get the enthoo pro at $89 instead of the 780T at $189.

Solid build, dunno about the headset, "gaming" headsets normally aren't great and you would be better with a decent pair of headphones and a separate mic

You could get your windows 8 key/download from G2A.com for $25 rather than spending $100 for it or even go windows 10 tech preview till windows 10 launches and get a full version of it. Thats all I can really think of to lower the price with the exception of removing the optical drive. If your dead set on the i7 and 980's.
