What i am trying to do is take a windows 7 disk and create a flash drive i can plug into any computer and boot into windows 7 after telling the computer to use the flash drive as an OS.  I have looked all over and cant find how to make a flash drive that i can boot into windows, only how to create a windows 7 installer.  I'm not sure if this is even possible but if it is could some one help me out with it.

If I understand this correctly, you're not trying to create a bootable setup for win7 but you're actually trying to integrate the actual OS onto the flash drive?

I've never really done that before, and honestly really isn't a good idea. Its better to have a stable partition like a HDD or SSD to have that OS on. But i've seen

a few articles similar to what you're asking.

Found one, but you should search up more about this:

If you are trying to create a bootable flash drive:

There are plenty of tutorials on this,  just be careful when making flash drives bootable as it can permanetly lock your volume and whatever data is on it, stays on.(actually rare but possible, even happened to one of mine) \\ Like taking out the flash drive while its physically writing the image to the flash drive
